Is it possible to increase the mathematical expectation?

If the odds are a market rate and there are multiple markets, then yes, you can "beat the odds". You bet in each market where the participants have skewed the odds incorrectly based on the sizes and sides of their bets. You just look for pricing errors. This is also the winning strategy you apply to stock trading.

But more correctly stated: You are not "beating the odds" you are beating the people you bet against.
And how do you know the errors of the others? Are you God? :) And who says the "multiple markets" are somehow correlated?
Man, just stop! The OP has posted a serious question, but you are spamming the thread with your such nonsense...
Not sure whom I mean, you or this other guy vincentnyc :-)

It implies your model is better at pricing odds than the market. Which in most case isn’t true.

The closing odds from the big and liquid exchanges (Pinnacle & Co) are fairly efficient.

But I admit: with pairs trading this could work... :)

man do you even do any sports betting yourself...if not...quit wasting other ppl time!

If it works for you, then fine, man! But ET is about stocks/index/options/futures/currencies trading, not sports betting.

but also about the strategy you use and i use that strategy in both trading the stonk market and sports betting. just because you don't want to hear it doesn't mean it doesn't exist or work. next time, close your mouth if you don't understand something and expand your mind!

Well, I make it easier for both of us... Bye bye, AH! :-)
