Is everyone in a fullblown panic because of coronavirus?

Because the idiots in this country can't seem to NOT go to the ER every time they get a sniffle. Add the panic of this virus they're reading on Facebook and hearing in the media and they'll all be rushing to the ER at the first sign of a cough thinking they have days to live, when in reality, the vast majority of them will be just fine and the limited resources we have need to deal with the people who won't be fine.

OR.... because our healthcare system isn't as good as everyone says it is. How many % of GDP is our pile of shit healthcare again? And it can't handle a simple flu? It's good at taking people's money. That's about it.

What a surprise, Palm Beach Florida. He's definitely used to special treatment. Corporate executives are flocking there due to the tax laws and are bringing their misdeeds with them, just read the Palm Beach news. You'll be shocked. Criminal laws don't apply when you have enough money. Guy is probably an executive and hung out with Epstein.

I'm not arguing for the effectiveness of our health system, just the stupidity of the population.

People don't go to the ER when they get a sniffle because of bad health care. They could go to an urgent care. They do it because they don't understand the ER is for emergencies.

All solid points and answers to the questions I asked. Just trying to stimulate some common sense thinking. For the overwhelming majority of people who become infected this it is nothing more than a week of feeling really shitty. If you're 80 with heath issues it's probably a death sentence as it is for infants. The 40 year old who is 150 pounds overweight, diabetic and can't walk across the parking lot is also high risk. I am just not sure that the long term economic damage we're going to endure from all of this lets go into hiding for the next 30 days isn't going to do considerably more harm to the general population than the virus itself.

Dude, you're in the high-risk category. So get off the internet and lock yourself in your doll closet.
