Is Cathie Wood funds in big trouble?

The US would have "won" (I put it in quotation marks because it was never achieving much but human suffering) if it had stayed in just a bit longer. The last major NVA offensive basically used up their remaining reserves. Mistakes were also made far earlier that if avoided would have let the US win in the early years.

Sorry for OT, but a fairly good objective British documentary on the matter is Battlefield Vietnam:

Every US president was privately told by the CIA the US could not be win. Declassified documents show this.

"Strange game. The only winning move is not to play"

Cathie Woods Ark ETF’s look to be heading for trouble. If the rates go up and the nasdaq breaks below 13500 ( neck line of the double top), I think a lot of her speculative names will crash. The electric vehicle bubble is already bursting.

ABBY JOSEPH COHEN 2.0

Today, FULLY CONFIRMED...

First I couldn't figure out why ARK today is in the red, when the market is up big, then I realized that Tesla was tanking.

SPX up 0.7%
ARK down -3.3%
Tesla down -3.25%

Not really worth it. Going through all the bid/ask spreads with options...

Put the model price into IB adoption trader and put your bids and ask near there and you will get a much better price than completely crossing the spread.

She says she loves this sell off.
She loves the fact she is down almost 33%

She says the market is strengthening :D

%%
She is right. Stocks were on sale.
FUTURES mag, when it was in print, noted one of the top funds was named ''60% DrawDown'' So many sold @ sold @50% level , they [60%DD]did different.

I don't understand the anglo stereotype of French surrendering or running? What is that about?
It's based on American ignorance. Perpetuated by shitty high school teachers all over the US. An article somewhere I read said France actually has the highest winning percentage when you add up every conflict they've been in. People forget the Grande Arme or that almost every military term we have is of French origin. In modern times there special forces have been operating with remarkable skill in various regions of Africa for years. One may argue without their assistance in the Revolutionary War we would still be sending taxes to our royal masters across the pond.

Another fun tidbit I've read perhaps of doubtable origin describes the origin of the term "pussy" as a medieval taunt during the crusades where the French knights taunted the Germans who couldn't keep up while traveling rough terrain and shitty weather. The taunt "pousse Allemand" or push on Germans. probably bullshit but interesting.

Many a French war was fought by non French. Usually the command will be French, but the soldiers were primarily men from the colonies or those from the opposing camp.
The Foreign Legion as the name implies, is mostly foreigners and French citizens with unsavory past. The legion expunges a man's history and gets them a new French passport after a number of years of service. Many mercenaries are either ex Legion or joined it. They fight France's covert wars and have few rules to abide by but the strict ones of the Legion.
The legion has an interesting hobby of making Christmas village models of little manger scenes. Odd but interesting tradition.
