Is anyone here still trading NQ intraday?

I trade the NQ intraday exclusively. I started with a low cap size and the balance of leverage and risk and whatnot is what first attracted me to it. I still trade it pretty much exclusively just cuz I'm used to it. I actually just started a thread in the journals if u care.

I ask because it hasn't been getting much mention lately. Admittedly, it has recently had some periods of relatively low volatility. And so, I'm curious to know if I'm one of the last holdouts here, ignoring the winds of change, clinging steadfastly to the NQ vine.

Yes I trade NQ exclusively....

Your sense of humor is unlike any other. Rather than shooting, have you considered writing? Really. I don't know anything about getting published, but I'd buy what you write. Preferably fiction along the lines of Harlan Coben. You've got a gift. Why not give it a try?

I think even the crickets left. lol

The nas100, dow, and s&p500 all have such a tight correlation that one is the same as another, so you might as well only trade the most liquid.

Plus, one single tick in ES covers both sides of commission plus puts double that much coin in your pocket. YM and NQ barely cover commission with 1 tick.

Silly, always thinking about the profits never the risks.

Gabby, thanks as always for your kind remarks. But I have lernt over the years that if someone finds my prose to be amusing they are either very strange individuals, didn't get that I was actually being serious, or are Canadian. I have written for publication often enough to find that for my trouble what I usually get in return is catty remarks like "I could have written THAT!" and less spendable money than I could have made flipping burgers. So now I confine my literary talents to writing elegant trading code. My curse of unintended humor often follows me there, too.

Let me add as a fit epitaph to your mordant thread that most people will not say they trade NQ because they are embarrassed that they do so. NQ is to ES as pornography is to art.

Excellent. We need more like this. Thanks, Art.

I built this screen to watch "trading time" trades NQ, he hasn't called much NQ trades lately

Thank you, J.P., for your kind words to an old fool. But I know what ET wants: it craves being handed a working system for free like an old married man longs for a good blowjob. This in itself it not in the slightest amusing, as anyone who desperately needs a blowjob can confirm. The humor arises when a guru (either for hire or for free, although for free is funnier) offers up ET's heart's desire. Oh, the slobbering and drooling, the virtual pecker tracks meandering across ET like a fat slimy snail's trail on a sidewalk! I am saving up all my logical and believable, but failed, systems for the day ET runs out of gurus. If I only teased with one a week I could keep pied-pipering for a couple of years.
