The numbers are getting to a staggering level for the dems who still believe this is random, 95% of conservatives get targeted by sheer chance, then Lerners hard drive crashes, where the odds are 1 in 1000, and the arrogant left wing dufus in charge of the IRS is so fucking stupid he tries to say that he knows how statistics work, and that if something has a 3-5% chance over the course of 365 days, then it also has a 3-5% chance of happening every day.
If you had a 5% chance of your hard drive crashing every single day that would mean that your hard drive crashes every 20 days, or almost twice a year.
GOP Rep. Massie Burns IRS Head with MIT Quip
Republican Congressman Thomas Massie got into a bit of a back-and-forth with IRS Commissioner John Koskinen tonight during the hearing over Lois Lernerâs hard drive crashing, and Massie had a snappy one-liner ready when Koskinen challenged him on a matter of probability.
Massie brought up the statistic that thereâs a 3-5 percent chance that a hard drive would fail on a regular basis, but factoring in the 10 days it took between an inquiry for Lernerâs emails and for it to turn out that her hard drive crashed, Massie said thatâs a probability of 1 in 1000.
Koskinen said, âThatâs actually not how probability works.â
Massie shot back, âYou donât have to explain probability to me. I took the class at MIT.â

chances are you're right.Yep, it was all just a big coincidence, target conservative groups at a 95% rate, then because you were a victim of incredible bad luck plead the fifth amendment in court, and then your luck takes a real ride south when when suddenly all of your emails that would have vindicated you dissappear off of your hard drive from the company you work for, a company that just so happens to be known for their meticulous dedication to record keeping.
Humor me for a second on this, and tell me something piezoe, regardless of where you work, how many times have you ever lost pertinent data on a computer you own due to a hard drive crash? Ill give you a hint, i recently went swimming in the fucking river with my cell phone in my pocket, and although it would never turn on again, i was able to get everything that was on it, and transfer it over to a new phone/computer. I sold computers for a short period of time while going to school, and it was incredibly rare to hear of people losing the information on their computer, people came in with all kinds of reasons as to why their computer was fucked up, and the low level techies were almost always able to get their stuff off of it, except in very rare circumstances, with the thousands of computers i sold it probably only happened a couple of times, Lois Lerner must be the single unluckiest human being alive.
If nothing else, Lerner should be found guilty of criminal negligence, the IRS would put you in jail if you tried the same story with your taxes.
The amount of cognitive dissnonance it requires to believe that there "Isn't even a smidgen of corruption" on this one is unrivaled.
"Million to 1 shot doc, could have happened to anyone, swear to god."
