Iran’s attack on Israel "imminent"

Nothing burger . Not one missile or drone got threw . Wouldn’t surprise me if futures are green by 6 pm eastern . I recall like yesterday 1991 when Persian gulf war started . Futures collapsed at 7 pm as japan melted down . I was at a blockbuster and it was on the intercom system . I stayed up all night and every so slowly the mkt turned and we opened up big . Long time ago and 10’s of thousands of trades since .
First, we were in a much different world back then. That was before the Internet (if you remember, we were still using pagers). Now, everything is calibrated in real time.

Second, it will largely depend on whether Israel counterattacks or not. If nothing happens, the market will likely rally. But any military response from Israel will take the market down, fearing a wider escalation in the region.

The Jews do not have thermonuclear weapons.

Israel most certainly has them, they just wont ever admit it. And they will take out anyone who reveals it.

One theory is they took out JFK because he wanted to stop them from developing any.

In the meantime, the House is convening to offer aid to Israel for this "unprovoked attack". But I wouldn't exactly call it "unprovoked".

House GOP leaders plan to take up Israel aid after Iran attack
By Barbara Sprunt|Apr. 13th, 2024

In light of Iran's unjustified attack on Israel, the House will move from its previously announced legislative schedule next week to instead consider legislation that supports our ally Israel and holds Iran and its terrorist proxies accountable," said House Majority Leader Steve Scalise in a statement.

He added: "The House of Representatives stands strongly with Israel, and there must be consequences for this unprovoked attack."

House Speaker Mike Johnson said in a statement he "will continue to engage with the White House to insist upon a proper response" to the attack.

Thats BS. He does not want them to attack because its election year. But if they go in then the US wont join them, but will definitely privately support them.
You saw for yourself what happened to Iraq after the invasion. Do we really wanna go through that again? I say leave the hornet's nest alone. While we might not like the Iran's current regime, destabilizing the area will only invite bigger menace like ISIS to fill the void.
