So Iran saved face, at least symbolically from their own domestic audience, without actually harming Israel. Will be interesting to see how Israel reacts. I think Bibi should just call it quits and move on.

If Gaza is anything to go by, Iran is going to get plastered well and truly, paid for by Western money.
Oh well, maybe this will be the end of Iran's nuclear threats, but it won't be the end of Israel raping Palestinian land.

Hamas provoked Israel with a clueless plan and got pummeled.
Likewise Iran, clueless, they haven't a chance in hell.
Hamas and Iran terrorist attacks won't go away though, they'll prolly escalate.

@Laissez Faire I don't doubt Hamas commits terror acts, but you rarely see protest versus terrorist organisations.
I grew up in the south of Italy and I remember the protest against the mafia in the late 80's. Civilians were getting hit.
But it's rare to see protests against a rebel, terrorist, or organized crime group.

Israel is a sovereign state, part of the western alliance, supported by most Western states. Of course people protest!

Israel response is historically disproportionate:

Hamas kills 2 or 3, Israel kills about 2000 (about 10yrs ago)

Now... Hamas kills 30 kids, Israel retaliate and kills 12000

Those are the numbers.

Sad thing is, it will never end.
They both want the other out, wiped. Neither of them are willing to compromise or split the land.
