Look,
the reality of things is that Europe, Russia, China and Japan are growing pretty indifferent to either party in the middle-east. Southern Asia for sure do not favour Israel, and the same can be said for Latin America - especially Brazil with a large arab immigration (Lebanese in particular). Australia and New Zealand might slightly favour Israel - but are not exactly passionate about it.
The mechanics of the situation in the middle east have for some time been that the US plays Israel as an outpost and threat towards the energy producers in the region. I'm not saying that's how Israel was created - I'm just saying that's how the dynamics are nowadays.
After WWII, Europe was pretty much in ruins and with the Marshall-plan the Soviets were held abay while favouring trade with the US. The UK finished paying off their war-debts in dezember 2006, and now the dynamics in the world have changed with much stronger growth elsewhere - which naturally shifts the balance of power as well.
At some point the US can't afford to expend more and more to keep the role of Israel as an outpost and proxy of their power - if things continue in the same direction as now - that being the shift of power economically and militarily in the world. The way Israel have been acting, they have very few "friends" in the world, as does the US - partly by proxy of using Israel to strong-arm the middle east. I'm not saying that it's all about Israel, but the whole dynamics of the situation is not favourable to Israel in any form or shape - in the long run.
Israel and the arab states better find a way to coexist - or they will crash together at some point. It's inevitable.
Religion and faith are based on detachment from reason - embracing blindly what can not be reasoned. It just goes to show the absurdity of it all.
