Iran weeks away from nuclear bomb

Iran could be weeks away from amassing enough material to develop nuclear weapons if it continues to violate the 2015 nuclear deal, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned in an interview with NBC News broadcast on Monday.

The television interview, Blinken’s first since being confirmed by the Senate, followed confirmation from the White House that former Obama national security aide Rob Malley was appointed as the US envoy to Iran, a move that angered Israel supporters due to Malley’s reputation as being tough on Israel and soft on Iran.

Iran said over the weekend that it would not agree to any changes in the conditions or parties of the 2015 deal following remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron that new talks should include Saudi Arabia.

“The nuclear accord is a multilateral international agreement ratified by UN Security Council Resolution 2231 that is non-negotiable, and parties to it are clear and unchangeable,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said, according to Iranian state media.

So what. Why can't they have nuclear power, or even weapons? We can, others can, but they can't, why?
FWIW I have held this position for years, long before Trump was ever on the scene.
My position on countries like Iran having nukes is simple. Have them, rant and rave all you like, but use one in any capacity and we launch a full scale strike. No more Iran, NK, whoever. This policy has kept others from using these weapons. Besides, a nuke is bullshit. We should be much more concerned with all the bio-weapons floating around and in development.

The instability of their leaders who believe there is still a jihad to rid the world of infidels, specifically claiming they would love to bomb Israel out of existence, means that if push came to shove they would detonate a bomb in someone' capital via terrorists organizations who they openly support.

U.S. and Russia may talk a good game but history has proven they have no intention of launching any nukes to solve a dispute or problem and our arsenals are truly wastes of taxpayers dollars (you dont need to blow the world up 50x over...1 will suffice). iran and North Korea have not shown the world any type of reluctance to use them if they could with their lunatic leaders and what they say.

No one really should have nukes but some leaders really should not.
