Iran refuses to hand over black box of plane that crashed.

They're refusing to cooperate and acting fishy. This coupled with video of the plane coming down in a fiery ball of flames shot by a student strongly suggests the plane was shot down.

Also, they said on the news that air traffic control said the airplane reported nothing about a malfunction.

63 Canadians were on board. I wonder what Trudeau has to say.

It is fishy as you said.

The plane apparently dropped like a rock and shattered. But the pilot pundits I have heard on TV have said that if it had been a simple engine failure they would have had at least enough control to come in at a landing angle somewhere even if they crashed. Which makes sense of course.

Makes you wonder if they fucked up and shot a domestic flight down. I don't think anyone - even the Iranians- are alleging that the Americans had anything to do with it. The Americans shot a domestic flight down in one of the mideast flaps but we acknowledged that we fucked up, owned it, and paid up. I think it was an Iranian flight too.

I do recall the FAA banning American flights from the zone before it happened but they don't control Ukraine flights. Twas the smart thing to do in retrospect though.

2 theories:

1) That plane was taken down by either a shoulder carried rocket or a small truck mounted one from the explosion in the air just before the plane then hit

2) An engine suddenly exploded.

One hole in both of my theories is the explosion happened 2-3 seconds before it hit the ground and exploded. I know it took off a few minutes before but it would have at least been a lot higher at that point and exploded in the air if hit by a rocket and the engine exploding would not have brought it done which such speed.

So I have no clue wtf happened but something did happen before it went down in the video.

ALSO...why was someone videoing a random plane taking off... suspicious and looks like something abnormal. the person was running with the camera to film the plane BEFORE it exploded and then crashed....

WHY?? Someone in IRAN did this with a purpose and it was a Ukraine airline.....

ALSO the plane was turning when it had that flash.. WATCH the video closely..the plane was not in a straight path as the news graphic first showed.

As discussed before it happened, there are a lot of side players/proxies that want the conflict to boil at a higher level and are cheering for a full scale war so that there will be a change in the entire political landscape in the mideast- their hope anyway. Some of those jihadi types get pretty fired up thinking of all those virgins.

Why could the plane not fly on one engine for the short hop required to land. They were near the airport right?

Well it could not have been one engine alone going out up as planes are designed to fly on one engine with more than enough power and maneuverability to land again. However if an engine explodes and sends shrapnel into the body it could affect control of the plane sending it down.

I dont' believe initial reports that pilots reported nothing, it may be true up to that point, but as soon as it happened there was some yelling or utterances and the black box will confirm it.

I do not believe my own missle theory because there was no streak of fire leading into the plane, and if truly hit by a missle, even a small one, the whole thing would have exploded like TWA did when people thought it was a missle.

My new theory, engine or SUITCASE bomb exploded rendering the plane out of control (i.e. hole in fuselage and damage to controls). I lean towards suitcase because:

1. Someone was filming exactly at the right time at some random plane taking off? Running after the plane while it was rising up before something happened? BULLSHIT. They were filming the plane specifically because they knew something was going to happen.

2. No way in hell Iran has the same security that TSA does and it must have been easy to get a bomb on board.

3. Why pick a Ukraine airplane? Because no other "Western" airline would be that easy to take down. I would think that Air France or any European airline that flies there has major security on its own on screening suitcases. Ukraine is more allied with West and Europe against Russia so easy target.

4. I believe this was a rogue attack not really set up by Iran government but some local isolated outfit looking to retaliate against anyone.

5. Within the next 5 days someone will take credit for the airline going down even if they are lying, so this will add fuel to the fire.

6. this was a new Boeing 737-800. Their engines do not explode.

the tape started with just the lights of the airplane, then you see a small fireball and then 2-3 seconds late the plane hits the ground... If I see some lights in the air near an airport my first instinct is not to start filming right away...

I think what happened was a missile hit it, but didn't blow it up. Then it frantically tried to turn back to the airport and the fuel tank blew up(what we saw in the video) before it crashed.
