So Iran fired 15 surface-to-surface missiles at a US/Iraqi base which killed no one but accidentally shot down a commercial aircraft killing 176 people.

We know that the Iranians and their domestic supporters in this country- ie. the Democrats- desperately, desperately would like to be have been able to show that the Americans did it, but it did not go that way or is not going that way, if you prefer to put it that way- mostly because the plane was right in Tehran. If it had been a little further afield the dems and the Iranians would have spun lots and lots of Trump-related theories. After all, both the Dems and the Iranians belong to the Blame American First parties.

Where is the black box/es headed? Which country. I need to see that to keep my bullshitomer from being so twitchy.
Iran says now that the black box has been damaged. But I heard an aviation safety pundit say that Iran would not even know how to open them or process anything to know that. So if it is externally damaged, well then, which country is that going to for recovery analysis?
