What if Israel sets Iran's nuclear weapons program back (hacks, assassinations, etc.) months/years every time they believe "Iran is close" to obtaining the bomb?
Iran would proceed again, and get close again.
Would that not explain repeated claims that Iran is close?
I don't have a dog in this fight, just trying to illustrate logical thinking by raising a logical possibility that you haven't even addressed while reaching your "conclusion."
There is way too much illogical thinking in the world right now; and it influences large numbers of dummies to the detriment of us all.
The source is my memory, and anyone who reads the news and is older than about 40 should remember this story repeats every few years.
Gotcha. And since it made the news, a reader here should be able to do a google search and easily find these 'every few years, 2 months away' news reports--or corroboration of such.
Your memory prowess and lack of supporting evidence notwithstanding, you still fail to address the possible explanation I raised for the repeated, 'getting close' claims.
