iPhone 6 plus or Galaxy S5- help me decide

Spoke with another tech nerd, gadget type this evening, and am being told, "just buy the iPhone 6." And what a jump! http://www.latimes.com/business/technology/la-fi-tn-iphone-6-record-sales-20140915-story.html DOUBLED 24 hr sales vs iPhone 5!
Spoke with a gal at verizon store near me several times, and was told "show up at 6:00 am Friday. We'll probably open early at 8 instead of 9." Two hours??!? I do have a deal with my Son since he's maintained a 4.0, but damn!:eek: I'm thinking if I'm gonna skip AM cardio, and be stuck for two hours, I may as well switch my service over to verizon and get both i6p's. (may as well bring a lawn chair, and get some sun, lol!) Never thought I'd be that guy...:(:D

And thanks! Since I'm winding up with a tan waiting to buy a dumb ass phone (maybe two), I should post pics of the result(s) of my ignorance. Damn good thing I don't drink anymore! I can imagine sitting in a lawn chair drinking beers 7am - when they open. Yes, I used to go to the gym on occasion, in a blackout.:( Can't imagine what others around me were thinking, as I know they had to smell alcohol, me training as intense as I do.:eek::( Looking back.. Unreal!

Will do. I'll try it first, but if no luck, will send. Am most certainly doing a pelican case (already ordered, lol), for my Son w/the i6p. If the phone impresses me, I'll probably wind up with one myself w/pelican. Those cases do look solid, but lean. Will be just my luck the Galaxy S6 comes out, and winds up being the home run I should have waited for. Lol!
And can't believe this 4s is "worth" $200 on trade, plus my Son's. I wouldn't pay $100 for both of these! Lol! I really can't stand a small phone, plus mine is on it's second battery, and still drains too fast. Oh well.
 
Received the pelican case for my Son's i6p. One thing I'll note is the plus in the pelican case, does ride high in front pocket. Fox News just ran a tech clip, and the reviewer said it (i6p by itself), sticks out of the top of his pocket. Looks like I'll be going to the cell store this afternoon to see how the Samsung S5 does in a pelican case, and in pocket. And yes, I'm still screwed enough to have to go to the cell store at 6:00 AM tomorrow for my Son's phone.:(
Let's see. I'm skipping AM cardio, and gonna be sitting in a lawn chair in the sun for two hours. If this were beach side, I could at least not feel like the dumbass that I am for this, lol.
