Intel Xeon 2235 Vs 2245

For 100$, why are you asking?
If it lasts 4 years, that's about 2$/month more.

Might even "look up the chain" to see if an even bigger capacity CPU might be worth the investment... if running a bunch of tic charts (which I would recommend against)... buy ALL THE PERFORMANCE you can afford.

My experience is to expect 10 year service or more from a workstation-class computer. Of course if one wants to upgrade sooner, that's different. (My Dell workstation desktops are now 6-years old and my Dell workstation laptop is 9 years.... all still working smooth as a gravy sandwich.) :D

Then you should have no problems with W10/W11 running 12
The reason I asked is that Dell offers 3 Cards only in their 7920 Model & only if you buy a Duel Processor with it. Even with the very high end single processor they wont offer 3 cards.

The specs on the Xeon processor don't list any limitation on "max numbers of monitors supported".... as do "Core ix" CPUs.

I am ordering Dell Workstation 5820 with Xeon Processor & would like to know if extra $ 110.00 price difference
It was $109.00 yesterday, today it is $159.00. Xeon 2265 was Extra $460.00. Today it is $749.00. Something is wrong with their Web page or Taiwan situation or Yesterday's 1200 point drop in Dow ?

Inflation, Grasshopper....it's the"reason" behind price increases, and the gouging of mark-ups because they can probably get away with it thanks to inflation cover.

If you don't want to be a victim of that, suggest you buy a used workstation... fwiw

(Personally, I buy used. I generally don't buy just one, I buy 4 or 5 at one time... save $Thousands on each purchase.)

What do you plan to do with this magical machine?
What kind of market money do you plan to generate with this magnificent marvel?

They gave me a quote yesterday & it says good for 14 days on the quote with quote number & name & date etc.
Can they back out of it or is it a binding agreement ?
