India economics. where does the money go?

Wow this is really messed up. There is a job in india called Musahar and them niggas be eating rats as payments. you dont get paid you are allowed to eat the rats you catch.

Man check this out in india if you cannot afford a wheelchair you have to roll on the streets and hope not to get hit. man where does all the money go from them jobs we send to india?

India has over 1.1 billion people and the GDP is only $3.5 trillion. You can hardly expect them to be equal with us. India will only look like the US when their GDP rises to $49 trillion so they have a long long way to go. Per capita income there is still only around $3,000 per year. If Americans suddenly made 95% less money and were at par with indian per capita income, we would look like them too.
 
Wow thats messed up. I wonder how long before the average salary reaches similar levels in the us. we could end up like india 50 years from now at the rate things are going.
 
India is really messed up. People defecate and urinate right on the streets and sidewalks. You have in the cities raw sewage everywhere, rats and vermin and it is very common and typical for indians to defecate/urinate on sidewalks and streets. You have to be very careful when walking to avoid the turd piles etc.

In addition There is garbage everywhere, and indians just throw trash wherever they are.

The country smells like being in a sewage treatment plant gone wrong in addition to smelling like a garbage pit.


It is amazing that no money that india makes as a nation goes towards infrastructure or making the country better. And the Rich indians have no care when it comes to its own people as well.

I do see the US in 40 years ending up just like india if we keep going in the direction we have been heading the last 35 years.

Anyways, from some one who has lived india for a substatial period - Let me tell you guys that India will be at par to US soon as they have very high rate of Education/ inflation/ Human resource and consumer base.
They have been lacking in Innovation when compared to the rest of the world coz the brilliant engineers/ doctors/ scientist and Entrpreneurs have been relocating to US and othe developed coutries. Good news is that with open markets and globalization for ONLY last 20 years India has created the environment to Attract talents from outer world and has slowed the outflow of HR capital.
Internal Polictical structure is a big disincentive for growth as well. Politicians like the Poor class unlike the middle class in America. With growing middle class, focus is bound to change and then things (laws/ incentives) will move towrds the Middle class. what I mean is that focus will change from just providing food and shelter to HOUSING and CARS. Its a pattern evident in any country that is moving in this direction.
US had dirt roads some 100 years ago, India has ONLY few left. Its a matter of time they will catch up.

I agree, but I think it will take A LOT longer than many people think...

I cite the Commonwealth games as an example. A nightmare by any standards...

It will be a while before India is ever awarded a global event like that again...

Re: CWG for many reasons Delhi was a bad chice for the SHOW.
It is a congested city any hooo u r rite.
It will be while - corruption is a big problem, bigger than anyone can imagine from outside. I know it first hand. Funny part is, Indians take it for granted and this is blessed by the politicians.
