The video does not support this assertion as far as I an tell (but it is hard to really figure out from video at this point). This is an assertion being made by ANTIFA supporters but is disputed by others.
We will see what the facts are eventually.
The guy filming got a taste way across the street, given it would take a while to reach him. Probably fairly safe to conclude.
Audio here is clear enough, hiss followed by shots.
Near the beginning around 30 seconds in.
Mace is a life threatening weapon after all. It disables the victim whose weapon could be taken and used against them.
At least that's the defense I hear when someone uses a skateboard as a shield or a taser gun against cops.

My point is only that the bear spray is not an established fact. Despite claims of the "hiss" in video etc. No video seems to support the assertions of actually showing the shooting victim spraying anything. If bear spray was being used it could have been anyone else in the crowd (on either side).
I will wait for more facts to come out before passing any type of judgement.

Where is the video showing that the victim is releasing bear spray. Any of the video angles to not show him pointing or using any type of spray (but all the video so far is very distant and very hard to see). With hundreds of people in the area involved in scuffles -- you need some true video evidence rather than just a hiss noise to support the assertion.
Can you prove that ANTIFA supporters were not both spraying the victim with bear spray and shooting him? I think not at this point -- until better video or police investigation information becomes available.
