Inauguration speech

Yeah, we have jobs and don't like crowds.
Yes sir! Obama slowly and deliberately destroyed the hopes and dreams of many Americans over the last 8 years. Many have lost there hope for change and are too far gone to celebrate anything in D.C. about our government again. Still others, like me, who would have been in the 2017 pic were already busy at their working class or middle class jobs doing their part at making America great again. ;)
Not according to Press Secretary Sean Spicer (a.k.a. America's Baghdad Bob), who declared the inauguration turnout to be the largest in world history.

Seems like a big gaffe for them to be whining about crowd size, D.C. is a democratic stronghold, the closest red county is 27 miles away, that and the fact that liberal nutjobs were destroying d.c. so there had to be heightened security, plus the rain, and obviously crowds are going to be smaller, they could have just brought out a logical reason for the crowd size.

Instead they decided to argue about whether or not the obviously smaller crowd size was the same size, stupid mistake on trumps part.

What did you expect? Every single thing they've thrown at Trump has either fell flat in the best of circumstances, or exploded in their face at the very worse. They have to go after things like crowd size as being relevant when the majority of us who voted Trump didn't go because we had to fucking work last Friday!

If Trump's turnout had been remarkably larger than, say, Obama's, do you not think the media would have reported it, simply as a matter of fact? Would you not have wanted them to do so, at least for comparative purposes and as a matter of record?

As for the actual reporting of it, I know that CNN didn't do so; they only reported on the umbrage taken by Trump et al and responded with a fact check. Initially, they showed the overhead view of the crowd as well as one closer to the ground, as I imagine all other media outlets did. If I am not mistaken, it was only when the Trump team started making noises regarding media "lies" about reported crowd size that CNN showed comparative photos for purposes of verification. CNN reported that they do not make crowd size estimates.

Whatever you may think of Trump, this was a gaffe on his part, especially when he brought it up when speaking at CIA HQ against the backdrop of the agency memorial, where he spoke mostly about himself.
