Inauguration speech

Is this a campaign speech? Lots of finger pointing, criticisms, and blame. Big promises too, of course. Not much of what I would call unification. Sounds more like something to be said at the State of the Union.
Agreed. I guess this presidency will be quite unconventional.

At any rate, he is instilling a 'yes we can' mentality into people's heads. Hope it works.

I think it was kind of an impeachment inoculation.

He tears into the establishment and makes them the enemy of the people.

Then, when they try to impeach him, which I think is a distinct possibility, they'll look like petty, vindictive drama queens trying to get revenge. At least that's what it will look like.

I think it was brilliant.

And, how does that work?
by playing 'the cheerleader' to a nation. Something Obama never did.

I don't agree with everything Trump thinks or proposes, but the results might be good for the populace at large...

I bet you could divine the future with the entrails of sacrificed sheep and poultry.

It's not that I disagree with much of what he said, but he should have saved it for the a-holes who deserve it which would be congress. There's a time and place, and this isn't it in my most humble opinion. I doubt he made many new friends, quite probably more enemies, and most assuredly he couldn't care less. A prudent man would find that troubling.
