Biden is planning to release millions of at home test kits, which is great. Let’s see if he mails them as I have said he should right here on the forum.
The right wingers are pushing the omicron breakthrough rate as proof their idiocy was right but they’re just idiots. Vaccination certainly worked well on the previous variants but don’t seem to on this one. But that doesn’t prove anything.
Let me know when those home test kits arrive in the Scandinavian countries (e.g. Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway etc).
Yeah, many right wingers have been trying hard to push the breakthrough rates while ignoring it's now spread enough that it's causing
similar statistics for reinfections of those that had recovered from a prior Covid infection from 2020.
The reinfections are being seen in Kentucky, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, France, Italy, South Africa, Austria, Denmark, Finland, and other places.
- So far, mostly just mild infections for breakthrough and reinfections.
In my opinion, most people are making a big mistake in concentrating on Omicron because it's
Delta Variant that's causing most of the severe illness, hospitalizations, and deaths. In fact, it's causing most of the severe illnesses in almost every country that has rising Covid infections.
Thus, some countries are near capacity on last year's hospitalization numbers and anybody that works in public health will be scared about that fact because people with other illnesses or injuries not related to Covid... those patients can not get proper healthcare.
Sweden, Brazil, India, Italy, the United States, and many other countries are prime examples of such.
I'm not worried about Omicron unless it mutates into something more pathogenic...resulting in more severe Covid illnesses.
As I stated before, humans are unhealthy, very selfish and too political. I see documentaries of people in many hospitals around the world (including the U.S.)
by people on a ventilator battling a second Covid infection from Delta...
Their Natural Immunity from the first infection in 2020 had already waned and they still say they will not get vaccinated.
