My dad's money went to my mom. all of it.
he was swing trader and longer term investor in his retirment.
I was daytrading only back then.

Took him 20 years to make that million and he drained his father's resources dry doing it mind you...

your replies make assumptions which are not supported by the data because there is no data which shows aerosol transmission of Covid.

Remember we have 33 million cases... some of them are traced.
if it were airborne... we would have the data.

Maybe you didn't read my recent replies clearly...it answers both of your recent questions.

Spoiler Alert - If you have an infection that can go airborne...wearing a face mask is effective in reducing (minimizing) the viral load that comes out of your mouth via coughing, sneezing or breathing.

Do your own research (tests)...be independent. Make your own decisions.

Remember this, I've been sick once before and experienced first hand a deadly airborne infection and lucky to have survived. Yet, I didn't remember that simple test from high school as I lay in my bed in a hospital after coming out of a coma...in quarantine.

I only remember about the simple test when my teenager did a science project several years ago involving face masks / germs.

Next, when this Pandemic hit in 2020, he understood his responsibility to those around him.

• Your own data (results) is sufficient.

Do your own test with your own face mask via your own germs. You don't need any babysitting.

Well since mid 2014 I made over 30 million and I'm shit at stats and such. But.. I have some training and I used this to hire good people. So I'm a fucking wizard at futures, far better when I have someone watching my back for any error (which I do). That traders think they are able to do it all, this is what keeps them small. Work with people better than you.

If someone like me sees something you just cannot and repeats it over and over, you should take stock you fucking fart sniffer instead of inventing a gnus to try and somehow be correct.

A clean mask may prevent some droplets from hitting a counter for a few minutes...

but... what if the person was shopping and the mask became dirty before getting to the counter?

if you are symptomatic breathing through you dirty mask may be spreading concentrated droplets.

touching a dirty mask may leave droplets in the exact spots you would be touching...

obviously you can see all this is conjecture.
but... if mask were really protecting people you would think there would be science showing it.

If I take a spray bottle and fill it with water that I have dissolved granular sugar in, white sugar, and I spray that through a terrycloth bath towel, it will eventually saturate. It'll catch a lot though. Pretend the sugar is those little virus. I guess at some point if I keep spraying, it will start dripping.
But like I said, its a thousand times better than without one.

Anyway, I had no idea you were a trader for real. I read some of those other posts. Nothing against you, but this is the ET cellar after all. I don't pay a whole lot of attention. Kudos. What do you trade, just the es bs or do you trade stocks? You probably got smart long ago and refrain from all of it lol.

The thing is, you cannot seperate being wrong in a factual manner from this being a judgement on your character. You don't really have character so why this has much weight on you..
But it is a cultural thing with American guys generally anyway. Flog a dead horse to its atoms before saying, I was wrong.

And you spiral off into nonsense about me because its about THEM, behind the fourth wall you think is there were Jem is listened to and influential beyond just ET.. Maybe Tugger comes to your posts for wisdom...

I am lost most of my capital owning 4 houses going into the last mortgage crisis.
So that was the end of my daytrading.

For the last about ten years I was only investing.
IBD type stocks on pullbacks.

Recently... because of Covid I started daytrading again. I was kicking ass during August but I gave back a lot of it in the last two weeks. Looking at my trades... which I was doing today... the only thing I did well this whole time was trade the last hour of the day. I trade everything well if there is volume and follow through... like everyone else. I will have to see if I can earn as much as want in tougher markets to justify my time in front of the screen.
