In Rand Paul's world, does a private doctor get to refuse treatment to a black man?

It sounds like Rand Paul is saying, "Do what thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law".

I hope some of you know that this has been said before.........

Libertarianism is an offshoot of the Divine right of Kings...

Since America wasn't founded on a monarchy system (LOL!!!) they changed the name to allow the power elite to be afforded the benefits of the monarchy in the name of libertarianism...and sell the carrot of libertarianism to the serf class...

The reality is that most libertarians have major issues with authority figures anyway...unless the authority figures are like Ayn Rand, Ron Paul, or Rand Paul...pushing libertarianism on others as the "only way."

LOL!!! You are saying that the more authorities that people have to answer to, the better things will be??? LOL!!!

On the back of slaves? You DO know that less than 0.5% of Americans owned slaves during slavery right?? Even in the south, slavery ownership rates were below 5%, you do know that right?

Chinese labor? You realize chinese came to America to work because they WANTED too right? Do you think they were brought to the USA because they DIDN'T WANNA BE HERE? You DO realize that they came because conditions were better in the USA than China, right? They could go back to China if they wanted to, you know that right?

Women had the same rights in the USA that they had pretty much everywhere else in the world at that time, so what the fuck does that have to do with America's development? Women had the same rights everywhere else, so why didn't that magically cause prosperity in the other nations in which women had the same rights??

What does any of this have do do with America prospering because of it's laissez faire system?

Non sequitur much??? LOL!!!

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Libertarianism on the back of slaves, no rights for women, Chinese labor, killing native Americans, child labor...

You are one lunatic crazed person if you think America was libertarian for all Americans...

It is a bit like saying the lords in England had a libertarian existence...because they didn't have to answer to anyone...

Why do you racists always assume its the white doctor refusing treatment to the black man. Why can't it be the black doctor refusing treatment to the white man?

Go ahead, try that scenario...see what happens...

Right, so which title is it covered under?

If you claim it's a violation of civil rights law, you have to specify which one.

No, socialism is the ideological descendant of feudalism. Instead of the divine right of kings, you guys endorse the divine right of the glorious state. Much like feudalism, you guys have a huge bloated government with bureaucrats and politicians controlling the production and distribution of resources instead of a king and nobles. It's much the same though.

The fact is that (true) liberal/libertarian thinking was borne out of the dismemberment of such power structures (the American and French revolutions).

Because our resident troll likes to be as inflammatory as possible.

It can be the black doctor practicing racism, which is wrong.

However, the topic is Rand's position that racism is okay if it is not institutional racism...

Thanks for eliminating the strawman excursions...

You think I am wrong?

No problem...

Liberty and libertarianism for all Americans?

Not even in the framers and founders and revolutionary colonists wildest imagination...
