I think Trump was niave in thinking bypassing media and tweeting would help him.

It didn't, it gives people way too much rope to hang themselves.
Too many unforced errors.

How many times do you see celebs or business types apologizing for a tweet.. thought dumps online don't help.

It goes back to the reason above all that Trump lost, not Covid, not the economy, not racism, not his hair, but major lack of political skill.

Nah to finish, CNN is fine as a news source. I use Mobdro a lot on my android tv box.

Its not lack of skill, who he is because of how his brain is abnormally structured limits him. It gives him shameless propoganda bullshit superpowers but it hard limits him in other aspects. He is what he is.

CNN stacks up well for news against against global norms. Its fairly obvious that there is a campaign to demonise more than the reality by a small fraction of the USA's 4% of the world.

It still does, for that matter Fox's news department has actually given a lot of actual normal news ( they don't really have any foreign reach, they have to buy AP news etc which might straighten them out). Of course the respectable ones quit etc. under Trump.

So far as we are aware, CNN does not intentionally lie. When ted Cruz tells you the election was stolen, he is intentionally lying, Ditto Trump, and Ditto Fox news commentators. They all know the election was not stolen; that Trump lost in a Biden/Harris landslide. That's the difference right there!

My expectation is that as the data comes in and reveals a different landscape, leadership will change direction. CNN may lag, or possibly Fauci will lag, but over time we can expect the overall evolution of policy and procedures.

Today, CNN made a very clear statement. Today, Fauci made a very clear statement that refutes the CNN statement. That has nothing to do with data, a different landscape, or leadership change in direction.

It is very clear CNN or Fauci is lying. It is impossible for both of the statements to be true. It is ridiculous that you even inferred it.

The CNN source said there is no distribution plan.

Fauci said we aren't starting from scratch because there is activity going on.

They are referring to two different things: a distribution plan, and the distribution itself.

That's why Fauci looked the way he did at the questioner and said that we "certainly" aren't starting from scratch because we see activity going on. He looked like she asked an obvious question.

Activity doesn't imply a plan.

Fauci has previously stated he hadn't been in the loop for a while. (Likely at Trump's request.) So he probably wouldn't know anything about the plan ... had there been one.
