No one will take you seriously with this attitude and these proclamations. I'm reading this for the comedy and I think that if anyone is such a nutter as to believe it, then just go ahead. You don't argue with nutters you just ignore them or laugh at them.

Look at the evidence. It is clear that your god encourages people to commit murder and genocide in his name. You agree with that and say that's ok because "God was simply cleaning up the community.. Removing the bad apples if you will" THAT IS SICK. Next you will be justifying the crashing of airplanes into buildings and mass murder in the name of your god. You have no evidence other than the very contradictory hypocritical nonsense in the bible. No almighty supreme omnipotent god would ever have gotten man to write such junk. It's dangerous and stupid and fortunately over time this religious extremism is being recognized for what it is by more and more decent honest folk who flush it's threats and lies down the pan where they belong. The understanding may come with a little exploration of why you feel you need to punish yourself with such a rigid, unhealthy belief structure. Maybe something is bothering you and you feel like it is the devil, or a strong religious belief system will change it. Personally, I feel bad because you might be happier and more productive if you opened yourself up to other options.

The next is the issue of nothing I have read makes God and Heaven seem appealing. Stoning women to death?? That sounds like, MODERN DAY IRAN. Sounds like women are not equal to men. Oh I don't know, like the way the Catholic church excludes women from the priesthood.

USURY is a sin also, is that not why the Jews became the money lenders? How many God Fearing Christians came out and called GreenSpan the AntiChrist for lowering the Federal Funds Rate?
A little consistency would be nice, not treating the Bible like a menu where you choose the parts you want. (Or pushing the peas aside by defining usury for me)

Then there is the whole Nature thing. If God created all beings on the planet as you proffer. Then I have to assume that includes monkeys. Since monkeys can both learn and act on instinct, they are the closest to humans in thoughts and actions. You may also find it curious that monkeys engage in ALL of the sexual actions and perversions that humans do. This includes both incest and same sex behavior. So if I were to believe the bible I would have to assume that god screwed up somewhere. Or that monkeys have some sort of social agenda. Or that monkey hell is a pretty full place.

Now as a part of a free thinking society, I realize that incest is unhealthy because we have seen what years of incestuous activity can do to the mental health of the offspring. But it would seem that the rest of God's creatures missed that lesson. How could that be?

But most importantly I hope you start to examine much of what you are quoting from a free thinking level.

If he is perfect and loves all his creations, he should have made his creations perfect and love them all equally. The world should have been a much better place to live. He came to save you from the GUILT and the POWER of sin. Jesus DESTROYED the works of the devil on calvary (I John 3:8). When you are unsaved, sin hath dominion over you. Sin is your boss and you can't do anything BUT sin. You are under the wrath of a holy and just God. Murderers, thieves, fornicators, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, rebels, and all other spiritual lepers will not inherit the kingdom. The blood of Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. That means the blood took away the guilt of the sins we've committed AND it has ushered us into a Father child relationship with the Lord. Through the blood of Jesus, we are to serve sin no more.
Again, the Father sent His only begotten Son, Jesus who is God, to die in your place. Remember that the wages of sin is death--that is why He died, to pay YOUR wages. The Lord Jesus Christ was your substitutionary sacrifice. The world's greatest love story is summed up in the following verse--

For God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Jesus said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13) How can you show more love than giving your very life for someone else's life? You can't. What is more amazing is that Jesus died for us WHEN WE WERE HIS ENEMIES! I mean vile, wicked, pitiful, wretched, unclean, unholy, ungodly, prideful, spiritually leperous.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

...Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)
 
Let's take a look at the New Testament. I'll begin with the character of John the Baptist and the position that he occupied. John the Baptist is presented as a most eminent personage. We are told that his birth was due to the miraculous intervention of God. We learn that he was "filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb" (Luke 1:15). John the Baptist was himself the subject of Old Testament prediction. The office that he filled was the most honorable which ever fell to the lot of any member of Adam's race. He was the harbinger of the Messiah. He was the one who went before our Lord to prepare His way. He had the honor of baptizing the blessed Redeemer. Now where would human wisdom have placed him among the attendants of the Lord Jesus? What position would it have ascribed to him? Surely he would have been set forth as the most distinguished among our Lord's followers; surely, human wisdom would have set him at the right hand of the Saviour! Yet what do we find? Instead of this, we discover that he had no familiar discourse with the Saviour; instead, we find he was treated with apparent neglect; instead, we find him represented as occupying the position of a doubter who, as the result of his imprisonment, was constrained to send a message to his Master to enquire whether or not He were the promised Messiah. Had his character been the invention of forgery, nothing would have been heard of his lapse of faith. Indeed, this is so opposed to the dictates of human wisdom, that many have been shocked at the thought of ascribing doubts to the eminent forerunner of Christ, and have taxed their ingenuity to the utmost to force from the obvious meaning of the record some other and some different signification. But all these ingenuities of human sophistry are dissipated by the reply which our Lord made on the occasion of John's inquiry (Matt. 11), a reply which shows very plainly that the question was asked not for the benefit of his disciples, but because the Baptist's own heart was harassed with doubts. Again, I'll say that no human mind could have invented the character of John the Baptist, and the faithfulness of his biographers is another proof that the writers of the Bible were actuated by something more and something higher than the principles of human nature.
