That is rubbish. If you don't know that then you are indeed more pitiful than you sound. The United States was not founded on christianity. That is nothing more than propaganda and you really need to learn your history. As I have said before, you and your like don't mind lying to try to attach what is good to your god. You go to any lengths to sell the goods. The words you wrote before are indefensible so you just ignore and puke up more god promotion material. You are a fraud and a liar. The Founding Fathers decided on a bases of deism. They most certainly did not base the Constitution upon any Judeo-Christianity but rather preferred upon the instinctive fellowship between people of similar interests. Their wisdom was evident in their intention for Religion to be clearly sidelined. That is simply historical evidence.
Mixing issues in an attempt to extrapolate that what is good is god, is a deception you like to continually practice. Again I say, you sir are a fraud and a liar. My "pathetic existence" as you like to call it knows very well that christians did nothing but latch onto the tailcoats of the brave men and women who defeated Nazism and Hitler. In "his own words" your god encourages racism and expansion as written down in your bible, which in it's content and intention is another display of Nazi lunacy. I have said before you have no connection to truth. You can't know what the word means. Such is extremely evident from your continuous insistence to spout lies. Your rantings here are of a demented person who is flapping around in a panic trying to give truth to a lie.
The bible contains only the mind of man. You sound disturbed,distracted and anxious. There is no real happiness in the falsehoods you attempt to serve up to others. Your are made weaker by naming so called believers as good / happy / right and nonbelievers as sinful / wicked / fools. It is the work of an unhappy bully who likes to find a sense of contentment by inculcating fear into others. You rely upon encouraging a residing apprehension to exist where in reality there need be none. Like all bullies you are best stood up to and revealed for what you truly are. This thread bears testament to your purposeful malevolence against your fellow man.
The superstition which has encouraged the throes of history to produce such deviate publications as the bible / quoran etc allowing them to be accepted into certain levels of culture, is surely and steadily wearing thin. But the goodness and light ,evil and dark, remain in the domain of humanity where they have always been. The infantile threats of religion which emanate partly from the inability or refusal of mankind to accept the indifference with which the universe treats existence, are dealt with by progress and a better understanding of the awareness which consciousness provides. An awareness which suggests there is superior benefit in learning more and becoming able to demonstrate what our reality is, instead of making up dangerous stories which play patsy to meaningless, shallow and convenient solutions.

You maybe right, maybe Katrina is not supportive of that idea. But the only reason the government is attempting to bridle that research is to avoid such almost sure outcomes. We do have the haves and the havenots. But if the genetic research were to be conducted freely and such "designed humans" were to result, they distinction between these classes would be beyond description. I do agree that the research should be continued. Just not in all possible directions. Alas, I think we as humankind are still not quite prepared for the full range of possibilities that can result.

Yes, I am sure you are right about him being "harmless". At least I hope so. Comparing him to Bin Laden was just one of those exaggerations I am famous for (right max401?). But yeah, child abuse is a distinct possibility. Something went wrong at some point. No doubt there are some very short circuits, and some complete meltdowns in his wiring.
I have friends that have very diverse beliefs. Many of which I just can't possibly relate to. Which is fine, because I don't have to. And they don't expect me to. Live and let live. But none of them are anything like Thunderbolt. Not a single one of them is so dogmatic. So intolerant of the beliefs of others. They keep their private beliefs private. Even the TV evangelists try to encourage tolerance. (Although some of Billy Graham's recently disclosed remarks have hurt his credibility.....shows that bigotry can be such a sad but intrinsic part of organized religion in general). Guess Nixon had a special gift to bring out the worst in everyone.

The coalitions that exist in my community between different religions, different congregations, really is such a great attribute to our city. The churches and synagogues cooperate in so many ways. They share so many resources. I can't imagine what things would be like with more Thunderbolts in our society. Instead of sharing facilities, as they do here, the churches and synagogues would have walls between them. Instead of paths. A sad concept.
Here, the pastors, priests, ministers, rabbis, virtually all clergy, actually are invited to give sermons to the congregations of the houses of worship of the "competition". Imagine Thunderbolt addressing a congregation of adherents to a belief other than his own. What an unpleasant thing to even contemplate. Fire and brimstone for everybody!!!

I predict that within 50 years genetic science will have advanced to the point that custom made viruses will be available that can reprogram us at the cellular level ( already being done on plants and animals ), and artificial body parts and drugs will take care of everything else. If you are wealthy enough, you can be hugh heffner except that you won't be a rediculous old geezer. The baby boomers will force all this to happen, they are the reason we have rogaine and viagra after all.
