Bear markets (crypto winters) are very difficult times on the emotions

During the last bear market, I worked extra hours at my job and cut down on my posts on ET

This time around, I got no job, so I'm reading more books and spending more time with the family, taking small vacation trips here and there

I wonder what is the bottom for BTC and ETH, but the thing that is more worrisome is that we may just be at the beginning and could last another 2 years

The Crypto Assets forum has been the most active it has been. No-coiner celebrations everywhere

Unfortunately, Crypto Winters don't stop when we want it to stop

Hope all the Bitcoin and crypto investors are prepared for this time. There will be many opportunities for very big returns when the bull market is back

So I got a confirmation call (not a margin call) today. I start my first day of my new employment tomorrow. Hopefully the markets around the world don't recover by the time I get my first paycheck.

For those who missed out on their 32 ETH for staking many months ago... you can actually stake with only half that amount if you use Rocketpool, and the price has fallen now that even a minimum wager has a decent shot.

Or... wait and pray for bigger discounts!

You are ever the optimist, johnarb. If it’s any interest to you, I closed all my IT short positions today. Bear market is not over but I never look a gift horse in the mouth.

Again and again and again today... as you may have guessed... my REIT portfolio slides further down into the red. Down, down, down the whole world goes in securities.

It's ok, because tomorrow is the middle of the month REIT-payouts due.

I'm sticking to my plan... buy more depressed REITs, and hope that crypto falls lower by next month. If we can get super lucky and grab ETH in double-digits by then (yes I know that is asking for much), I can then swoop in and be a high-rollah ETH staker!
