This is a psychological habit of newbies. They walk into a bar and see a bunch of beautiful women. They then start demanding to know which ones are virgins instead of just getting laid.

It's fine to ask questions man, but this all started when I stated I said I am private and don't talk about how I do. I sat on the same desk with the same 10 guys for 5 years at one point. They never had a clue about how I did. Most of my good friends on that desk and in the trading world are that way. The guys who taught me were that way. There are plenty of clowns out there who do blab about themselves and proclaim greatness. I don't need to be part of that club.

That point was only made as it relates to Brooks' and Bigmike's lack of transparency.

You suggesting that Baron (Elitetrader.com owner) is not transparent too like BigMike (forum owner) or you suggesting the thread starter (zeon12) is not transparent or you just want to get it on record "one more time" that BigMike and gang have done you wrong.

Lets see if I got this understood correctly...

We jumped from zeon12, to Eprado and then to Brooks and then to Etrade and then to BigMikes and then to Baron (my input) in this thread about a newbie not wanting to go to college and just wants to work his butt off for a few years until he can raise 100k in starting capital to start investing and trading.

I posted proof a while back and told marketsurfer to use that to verify any claims I had, but since he ignored me afterwards I suppose he wanted ME to hire an auditing firm to satisfy his curiosity. This is ET.
To me it's pretty obvious from your writing that you've gone through all the stages of trading.

Retail traders here will never trust you. They see you as the enemy because you worked once for a firm. Seriously, you guys took all the fun away after the bubble burst when you brought algorithms into play.

You guys have an unfair advantage...spoofing, quote stuffing and all kinds of illegal activities that's starting to become more well known today.

You can talk to Q3D about this. He has sometimes mentioned this disadvantage for us retail traders. Shame on you.

Trust me, I liked trading in the old days with specialists and floor brokers. Back then you could believe what you saw on the screen as far as bid/offers. While I don't let algos or HFT effect what I do, I'm not a fan of them. It's funny, when I started trading equities in 1992 the idea of spoofing was non existent. It took us sometimes upwards of 2 minutes to get a report back from the specialist that our bid or offer was cancelled. Things are a tad bit different now huh?

I am not going to answer your P.S.S. That will send this thread in a complete other direction..

Big Mike and Brooks claim to be profitable day traders and don't show their P&Ls or trading blotters, they could block out the last 4 account numbers easily, as the guy who showed his ETRADE statement did after allegedly losing 100K+ on a trade and got major media attention and was believed to be authentic. Although I do consider an account statement with any of the numbers blocked potentially inauthentic.

In the trading-marketing industry appeals to privacy appear to possibly be the last refuge of a scoundrel, not suggesting that this applies Eprado.

You really need to get over what all these other people are doing Q3D. Almost every post of yours is bashing "big mike" or "al brooks". It seems like you spend allot of energy worrying about other people. Were I you I would spend more of that energy on becoming a better trader but that's just me.

I couldn't agree more. Trading is a very very tough game. You really have to put most of your energy into your own trading (working on your strategy, identifying weakness and correcting,working on other strategies,exploring other markets,keeping emotions in check....and on and on). Worrying about what others do IMHO is a waste. Going on and on with excuses why traders can't make it is a colossal waste of time. If you feel that way then fine, move on and find another career.

Forex trading is similar to entering the university. First, you need to learn more about this business. I can say it's kinda more stressful since you have to understand many things like currencies of each countries, things that cause the market movement, etc.
