Trump can be crude and repulsive at times. I don't think it is good practice to be tweeting about the jobs report before it is released. However, he seems to have the ability to trigger liberals into making ridiculous statements. This is just one example.

We had a great jobs report yesterday. In May, 223,000 jobs were created, black unemployment reached historic lows, and overall unemployment dropped to 3.8 percent. President Trump tweeted he was looking forward to the numbers. Well, this triggered the news media, calling the announcement unprecedented and possibly illegal. Yeah, you read that right.

"Expecting" (tomorrow) is not having received the actual report that night and leaking it's sentiment just over an hour before.

FWIW I made a lot of money on that leak by Trump and it VERY much was identified as an act-on-now opportunity by the trading group I chat with.

Trump manipulated the market, anyone in a firm or regulator position with advance knowledge would be fired and facing a deserved criminal investigation. That Trump has been about for the last squirt of piss in jobs after Obama's recovery fools nobody here.

I don't dispute any of this or what it is doing to liberals every time Trump trolls them. Just keep in mind the unemployment numbers from the BLS have the same problem they did when Obama was in office - in how they count the unemployed.

The U6 is much better than the U3, but you also have to pay attention to the Labor Force Participation Rate - which is hovering at multi decade lows right now (not good).
