Although this is not exactly the reason, there is actually a specific reason why I’m not posting my PnL right now. However, I’ll get to it in a month or two. There will not be any surprises to my PnL versus what I have stated in my journal. Hell, if I’m inspired, I might post performance results separately for option trades and for outright trades.

Now don’t fret over this truck driving, part time trader’s pathetic trading performance and concentrate on what is important: The July 31st Fed interest rate decision. This may end up being a long term trend changing event for some markets. Look at the option term structures of futures various markets. Interestingly, some of these markets have 1 year IV percentages that are very high; some have 1 year IV percentages that are very low. There are many, easy ways to construct a massively positive EV trade from the information above.

So easy in fact, a truck driver could do it. How about you?

As stated in the post, the UFO over San Francisco was determined to be a satellite that had its appearance distorted by unusual atmospheric conditions.
