The arguments aren’t only about AR-15s but AR 15 in recent times have been mass shooter's weapon of choice. It’s also about mental health screenings and how easy it is to get firearms in general. The Virginia Tech shooter had documented mental health problems - the kind of screenings NRA is trying to prevent and that Trump blocked. He shouldn’t have had access to weapons whether they were rifles or handguns.

So... this case and the OJ trial are why Dershowitz is vigorously defending Trump on national TV, even though he didn't think enough of him to vote for him? Seriously?

Was it Johnnie Cochran or Dershowitz who came up with what became the "Chewbacca defence" on South Park for OJ? I guess Cochran delivered it but it has a Dershowitz feel about it to me.
