I went into the IB chat to ask if there was a problem with disconnects after receiving a bulletin - I said I know of others also who get disconnected at the same time - the chat representative asked me who they were - I replied "i don't know them personally, just from a live trading chat room" - the help representative then told me I should only discuss my account then. I wrote back "I'm not talking about my account - its a connectivity issue - no need to be snippy!"
