IB Doesn't Provide S&P Sector Futures?

Sure, but there's plenty of other markets to choose from and some sort of "S&P Select" are pretty poor choices. Note that CME doesn't actually have a program - they have third parties that are in it for the buck as market makers.

Agree on the points of trading futures over ETFs, but the granulinity of coverage isn't there.
 
We will consider a possibility to add several most liquid products.

@ids Would you be open to a general "please add this instrument" thread for IB? I've got quite a short list and it's tedious opening tickets for all of them. It also allows others to chime in.

I have been trading e-mini sector futures via IB for a while. I think their bid-ask spreads are pretty tight for swing trades. Day trading them would definitely incur noticeable slippage.
