Bill is since retired. Just age. His son I believe is running things now. But yes, they are still going.
Yes, they are amazing at what they do. Anyone that argues with Dunn's various programs like WMA? Doesn't understand the first thing about performance.
Dunn's legacy and the current firm needs studied by ANY serious student of the markets.
And I agree completely with comagnums statement ... "Trend following is still doing well, it's just that the space got crowded with noobs fund mgrs jumping into this space."

I'd add that it got crowded with noob fund managers jumping into the space, that don't have the stones that Bill did (if memory serves? I think Bill was once a Marine) ... nor the talent, nor the math ability. In short, people that just saw "up" on a chart, jumped in, without understanding what it takes to be in Asset Management.
