I do think that Kate Betingfield did a good job for Biden during the campaign. I guess she is white house communications director now or something.
She would answer questions without being stupid, scratchy, and bitched out which is a major accomplishment for most dem women in politics and in media. And she would go over into enemy territory on fox and treat it as an opportunity and pretty much act like she was happy to be there and probably did her campaign some good in doing so. Seems like a rather low bar to meet but she met it. As we know, Joe was missing in action for most of the campaign so most of the work fell to the ones who actually went out to cover for him. The campaign rapidly found that the ones covering for him, Kate Betingfield was one, were actually better at it than Joe so they stayed with that arrangement all the way to the end. That will work a little bit as President. Except when Joe is required to actually appear it will be a complete joke. Unless it is just a teleprompter reading.
