A fraudster, huh? Hmmm... sounds a bit like those who run Ann Coulter down for her incredibly entrepreneurial approach to branding herself.
Just because the guy has the kind of mindset that allows him to brand himself doesn't mean he's a 'fraudster', IMO. There are bigger fraudsters on here - those who claim you can make a fortune with $2500 down in trading. People who do Donald's gig are generally self-confident types and pretty bright, as far as I can tell. Sure, the Donald's dad had bucks but he made it through Wharton, didn't he?
Anyway, even if he's not a real genius, he's a genius at making money in America. He made and lost a fortune in RE and then, luckily, American culture sank into the toilet with the whole 'reality TV-cult of personality-famous for being famous' trend that we've seen emerging in the past 10 years. It was right up his alley and he saw an opportunity and went for it.
All this moaning sounds like sour grapes. The question is this - how many of us would turn down $10MM to make a public fool of himself, repeatedly, for 90 days straight? What would you do for $10MM? He saw the offer and he did what it takes to grab the cash. The offer is open to anyone.
