Yes... he did say this, and although I have full respect for wrbtrader, by saying its out there without pointing to an actual video that is the real deal, I didn't find this advice useful. I know he always pushes doing your own homework, which I respect, but in the world of trading, most of what is posted is crap. So to suggest that a person searches youtube for trading videos makes me think there is a much higher chance of learning from someone without a clue rather than from the few accomplished traders. (EDIT: He might have not said exactly to just go to youtube, but still, without providing a poster who he thinks is worthwhile, I think more harm than good can come from searching for help out there)
Its kind of putting the cart before the horse. In order for a new guy to figure out what's good, he kind of has to be very very experienced, and once he is experienced enough to separate the gold from the bullshit posted online, he probably doesn't need to look anymore for his own benefit.
First of all, you are far from the truth and its sad to see such about you as a lazy liar.
1) I posted a direct link to the website SalonAT.com (just did it again) that you keep ignoring.
2) If you can't read french...use Google translator (that too was stated)
I even made a sarcastic comment, if you don't know french...take a class because I'm not going to teach it to you nor is it my responsibility.
3) Type in SalonAT.com on Youtube or Salon du Trading on Youtube (that too was stated)
You intentionally bent the truth by implying I only said Youtube (read carefully your quote above...that's exactly what you implied)
4) There's a ton of videos going back to 2005...just choose one (that too was stated). Someone else chimed in and said he could
only find
76 videos of actual trading competition and
hundreds more about in interviews.
What's so difficult to you about using your own damn keyboard and typing in the words S A L O N A T . C OM or type in S A L O N D U T R A D I N G on Google or Youtube.
Guess what, I just spelled it out AGAIN for you. Seriously, if others can type the above words at Youtube...why can't you ?
You don't need direct links...just type in the darn letters and click ENTER. Next, watch any video of your choice. Simply, if you want me to tell you which videos are my favorites and why I like that specific video...it ain't gonna happen.
5) I have never implied those videos are going to teach you how to trade or going to teach you a trade method. Although you didn't actually say that...that's exactly what you're implying. Instead, I have been straight with you while you're being a lazy butt...me telling you about SalonAT.com and Salon du Trading is a direct response when you said something like the following...
There are no traders with verification they are profitable
If your mind is still slow, do you remember my original recommendation after you stated the above? I said the ES Journal (live trades) and the old Trading PnL threads (broker statements and live trades).
Your response basically
dismiss them all via saying things like they are members from many years ago as if their education content has no value and then you clarify by saying you're looking for some sort'uv education. I responded with sarcasm...nobody here is required to educate you about anything nor teach you how to trade.
That's your responsibility.
That's then when started making statements just like you did in this thread as if someone is required to point you to that ONE video that's going to change your life.
Guess what...lets see how many others here are willing to go to Youtube and type in Salon du Trading or go to the website SalonAT.com while you're completely unwilling to do the same but just complain. You create your own harm due to your complete laziness.
P.S. If you just want to learn someone's method....just go to the TA threads here at ET and choose any method you want. Do not expect me to point you to a specific thread here for such. Yet, if you want someone here at ET to teach you how to trade.
Just like I told you before...there's no mentoring here at this forum and this forum and any other forum is not a suitable environment for mentoring.
Simply, if you want someone to teach you how to trade...it can only be done in person, real-time via the person walking you through your trades for many weeks or months.
Reminder - I did not say just go to Youtube and give no further information as you suggested. I specifically gave you the
titles or names for your search and from there...you can watch or read whatever you want that fits your fancy.
Personally, I like the videos of the women traders...they're pretty.
