Yes.

And Barr expects and is okay with having the state handle the murder charge. It is a state matter and he is not looking for any more work.

Except if the officer should walk for some strange reason - not going to happen- or get off too lightly Barr will find a racial angle to the case and bring fed charges to do what the state failed to do. It has been done before. So, the officer should accept anything that looks like a good deal, find a "girlfriend" there in prison, and get on with his "new life."
TF, have you ever thought about getting out of the sniffing Barr’s ass business?

You can read the complaint from a link in this article - https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/29/us/derek-chauvin-criminal-complaint.html

or see if directly here - https://int.nyt.com/data/documenthe...d9e96e708a9b0c8ba58/optimized/full.pdf#page=1

Still I expect the biggest point his defense will use during the trial will be the cause of death from the autopsy. The entire complain narrative is written around George Floyd stating he cannot breath.

The complaint itself includes the following - so it does reference the Medical Examiners initial report:
"The Hennepin County Medical Examiner(ME) conducted Mr. Floyd's autopsy on May 26 , 2020. The full report of the ME is pending but the ME has made the following preliminary findings. The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease. The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death."

Ok, just read the complaint you linked.

The charges aren't specific as to the manner of death, so I doubt they'd have to be amended,

Concho needs to be careful though. I see that she has a problem with writing bad checks.

Hopefully he has a plan for how she can work off any debts that may accrue along the way.

I didn't know that Floyd started to complain that he couldn't breath while he was still standing. I wonder if he was starting to suffer from a cardiac event prior to being restrained on the ground.

Yeah... that is part of the interesting summary of the events. Sounds more like he was having a heart attack possibly caused by his being "claustrophobic" plus actively resisting several attempts to place him in the squad car.

She is filing for "divorce". In my opinion she is just filing for divorce to shield their joint assets from a civil suit against the officer. All the assets, house, etc. will be moved over to her name so they can't be seized.
