I am thinking about going short in the YM late today 03.22.07

Dwnriver ... hey, those were good calls.

Im getting beatup - down 2k on YM. Trading around a position
1 short avg @12680. then trying to pick off tics with the
second one short. really poor trading...im not taking whats given
by market befor p moves against me.

I used to try and day trade the indexes. It is a tough game to play. I only position trade now and results are much better. Good luck. Looks like you are doing okay to me.

Yeah, well ... remember im a couple of wks behind on posting and
i wuz refering to more current action like the 25th and 26th.
Screwed myself real good. Sh&^$ ....cant wait to post the details
in a few days. Crap!!What a mess.
 
Feb 12 Trades.

Begin: Flat.
End: 1 open short @ 12390.

In FIFO order: +34 +12 +4 -28 -34 = -12 tics.

Here's where I have the YM for today.

12835 - Long target

12750 - Cover on a move and settle above and go long

I am short at 12675.

12420 - Current short target. I will watch carefully for a reversal out of this level. Could be a very strong move up.



ES

1542 - Current long target (Obviously this may get broken down into smaller bites)

1388.75 - Use as a pivot. Cover on a move up and reverse to long.

I am short at 1388.75

1354.50 - My current target. Watch carefully for a powerful move back up through recent tops.
 
Feb 13 Trades.

No trades .... i had 1 open contract short from previous cycle
so ... i dont like IB accounting this way. Makes it look like i
screwed up a bunch of trades when there were no transactions.
Got enough problems with my piker trades ... :(

out wht is going on. Tought i wuz tracking the "position"
car correctly ... but .... not!
ok im showing here part of IB statement for 14th. It's showing
the p/l from the carry over car with 645$.
In next post i'll put up the exec. list and tics by FIFO. Sorry.
