I am thinking about going short in the YM late today 03.22.07

Ola, increase.

Oh man, i lost more than any 200 tics. i had worked gains up to
17.5K. So, then last Mon night i decided to experiment. Haa ha.
Ok, so i will keep one car in play at all times and scalp with a second car-including overnite. Ive done this alot for short periods and it works fine. Well this works ok assuming action is generally down or sideways. Wow, tues the black swan 800 pt up move
took place and that put me down good. Result is that im down
4.3K on my piker profits. Damn experimenting gets expensive!!

Bigger YM spreads. Sure, ive noticed it. When VIX gets high and fast price action the spreads increase b/c more traders are going with more market orders and holding off on Lim orders.

I had to quit posting the daily stuff for the last two months.
While "experimenting" a different piker strategy i got caught
in two vertical up moves that were just not going to do anything
but take away my accumulated profits. Then i resorted to trading
at a higher frequency. Lots of trades but it got back some of the
loss in Nov. and made IB lots of $$.
