I am thinking about going short in the YM late today 03.22.07

Volume is higher than normal. Looks like sombody knows something. Dwn trend all evening.
 
This is interesting. Ive been doing screen time with the YM for
a year. Ive never seen YM running below the previous dow30 close. im sure it has - i just havent enough experience with it(YM).

I havent traded much the last few days. When i have though ive lost my a$$. four lozzerz in a row. -25 tics. :mad:
Maybe i can manage to lose more firday.

i got choppped real good Fri. And stopped trading when i saw wht
may have been the problem for me. Lots of brief up and dwns at pauses in a 10(+) tic or so move. ive been keeping stps at about
6 tics or so. i would get caught up in that- happened 4 times
in succession. I didnt want to move the stps to, say, 10 tics so
i stopped putting on more trades. Result, another winner: -23 tics fri.

i tried to put on trades 2 times tonite with limit orders. No go. Price just moved out ahead of me too far each time. Both would have been long entries. Didnt like the risk.
 
hey RCJ...I noticed your reference to the ER2...do you trade mostly the YM?...or what % do you trade these others?...ES, NQ, ER2 etc...just wondering how you trade...thanks!

ER2. traded it a few times - like 6 to 8 trades. That waz months ago, though. Mostly YM with a trade or two in the NQ once in awhile. No ES for now - im tempted though.

RTH. Scalp mostly using vol and price action. Nothing fancey:) .
I will keep an eye on longer timeframes: 10,30 min, etc. and watch MACD.

Probably becuz they would be looking to grab more tics than ppl trying to capture a few tics real quick. Granularity isnt always that helpful in the former case; seeing the market in longer time frame perspective is. Some find that easier to do with 10/30/60 min bars with the details(noise) filtered out.
