Fauci is a fraud and a criminal. He did well for himself with his HIV crimes. And this POS is on every Internal Medicine textbook out there, a ton of white papers, patents, a connected guy...
will go against the science if "it's there".
I didn't give your post above a "like" because I didn't want it to be interpreted necessarily as an endorsement of zinc quercetin etc. Yet I like what you say. Interestingly, Pauling was well known for saying American Medicine was way too conservative. I personally heard him say it! And he was right far more than he was wrong. We have to temper that however with Pauling being a supremely confident individual who would stick with something even after it was clear to everyone else that it was wrong! In other words, he was far from perfect. Brilliant, yes. But not perfect.Generally speaking, doctors are not great about supplements. In part it is their education, simply missing it, in other part it is lack of incentives. Big Supplement is just not pushy enough and there is no patent protection. (compared to Europe Big Supplement is still pretty strong in the USA) The result is that when a cheap supplement would do it, the doctor gives you prescription meds for 5 times the cost.
I am not impressed with Fauci. He was wrong on plenty of occasions, he willfully lied about the mask first (although I understand the reason) and he didn't achieve anything in the last 6-8 weeks. The country is just as bad of a shape in right now with or without him.
Nice guys he is, but incredibly ineffective. He could have left the government and started a Youtube channel giving out facts and advice, we would be better off. Governors and mayors could decide if they follow him speaking freely or Trump. Fauci never said anything about vit D, although now it is a proven fact that it provides protection up to a limit against serious illness.
Imagine if eventually it comes out that 3 fairly cheap supplements (Zinc, Quercetin, EGCG) for about 40 bucks a month can provide a very decent defense against initial infection? The whole Pharma industry would get a heart attack...
I just feel sorry for the frontline health workers. They could protect themselves for a dollar a day.
Trump is lying when he says he is taking hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic measure. In someone morbidly obese as he is it would be dangerous to take it long term. It is not a harmless drug. No responsible physician would prescribe it for prophylactic use in that way, especially for someone in Trump's condition and age..You mean rigorously proven...like chemo...radiation...surgery...standard protocols for cancer treatment in the USA which translate into big bucks for medical profession and if those treatments don’t kill the cancer will. If the treatments kill you it often does so faster than the cancer would have...So much for scientific provens.......effectiveness and rigorous testings.. more like what will bring in the most $$$$.
hydro sure won’t so it has to be disproven by all means available.....and especially since your friend chumpie as you call him thought it might be a game changer.

He doesn't have to. just by not embracing it can have negative effects>>>people won't know about it.
Simple example is him not mentioning vit D. The science is there, the solution is cheap (sunshine) yet did he ever mention it?
By the way your scepticism is adorable but when there is no alternative, you might as well try it. That is the best part, side effects are minimal or none.
Are there perhaps some for zinc quercetin that you know about?
Now you've got me wanting to look up the literature on Quercetin/zinc.
Trial link in post #97.
The advantage about Quercetin that it works against Covid in 2 ways. One is its ionophore effect. The other is that it has been proven itself alone a Zika virus killer, I forgot the medical way how it acts.

We published a dramatic case report in early May (http://www.scivisionpub.com/pdfs/quercetin-for-covid19-1196.pdf). 1 g twice a day cured my patient of severe chest pain and dyspnea within 24 hrs. I now use it preventively for all my patients, and take it myself (500 mg/day, not low dose). In 400 patient-months, I haven't seen a new case of COVID19, so I think it prevents as well as treats.
The literature suggests that the MRGPRX2 receptor on mast cells activates Fc-epsilon-RI in the absence of IgE, but I'm told the mechanism may be different. Clinically, though, I couldn't ask for more. Quercetin seems to remove symptoms promptly. I would urge clinicians to try it rather than dismissing it as hype. After all, it's not as if they have anything as cheap and safe to try.
