They said the same thing about the Irish when they came to the U.S.
"They" in this case is a reputable medical journal, that publishes the results of a scientific study based on hard, cold data, not clouded by some politically correct agenda.
Also this study conducted by an Arabian institute shows that Arabs suffer more from genetic defects then any other population. The main cause is inbreeding, not my words, but the conclusion of the study. In a country like Dubai, which is one of the the most "advanced" in the Arab world, 40% of all marriages are between nieces and nephews. In more backward regions this figure is around 70%

That argument is totally ridiculous. The Irish immigration to the USA started in 1840. How are you going to compare scientific data from that era, if it's available, to a recent study, taking into account the huge advancement in medical science since then?
