You said that msnbc was in the tank for her and equivalent words, and I said "when was that not the case."

This may be the key issue going forward. Is it legit for a rich mixed race, ie indian and jamaican, woman to run as an authentic black? Could be tricky to exploit this however. You really need an authentic black candidate, ie not Booker, to do it, and there aren't any.

She offers an interesting target for republicans as well, as they can ask why is someone like her entitled to the full panoply of affirmative action benefits that were intended to help the victims of slavery? And what about reparations?

To the larger discussion of Harris is very problematic in that she actually does not know what she is talking about and some reporter needs to get to her fast and ask what her Medicare for all and executive actions on guns plans will look like to stop this train ASAP.

Those two positions alone will cause independents to balk and raise right wing enthusiasm for Trump.

Second, she would run the government better than Trump but not much. The democrats can do a lot better.
