How will the Economy fair under Trump?

Trump is enjoying the notoriety because he is, at heart, a publicity hound. But he is painting himself into a corner where few people outside of the Duck Dynasty contingent will join him. If it were not for his morbidly obese ego, one could posit that he was selflessly taking on the role of a Trojan horse to destroy the Republican party. But the "selfless" part doesn't wash.

Describes obama to a tee. Except he's a trojan horse to destroy the whole country, not just his own political party.

Establishment Neocons and Liberals have brought this country to its knees economically, and from a national security standpoint, made us more open to attack then ever.

Americans on both sides of the aisle, are deserting establishment carpet-bagging shills in droves, and flocking to Sanders on the Left and Trump/Carson/Cruz on the right. These are all candidates that the media vilify as "outsiders". In other words, candidates that aren't Corporately-controlled, who push whats good for the country and the average American. NOT whats best for the Fortune 500 who have raped this country dry.

All this bullshit is ending. The Republican Rhinos will try and scuttle Trump at the convention. There will be more hell to pay. The Tea PArty is taking over. Correct. Who is the Tea Party? Average working class Americans who want their jobs back, reduce the national debt, cut spending and shrink Government. This is terrorist talk to OBama supporters.

Hey, I'm as thankful for Trump as you are, just not for the same reasons.

As for the Wall Street angle, have you read this piece?

It's a pretty aggressive and much needed agenda, although it's more moderate than what Sanders has in mind. Plus, she committed herself to some specificity, which none of the Republican candidates have yet done, apart from Trump's fantastic wall with the beautiful door, all to be paid for by Mexico. That and the ISIS-style religious test of acceptability.

I think you'll change your mind rather quickly once he gets the nomination. I follow Trump closely. Once a challenger gets close to his poll numbers he hammers them. Hillary has so much baggage, shes corporately-controlled, zero charisma, shitty resume. Trump will crush her.

He hasn't talked about her at all. Keeping his powder dry. Watch what happens.

I hope Trump gets nominated because I genuinely believe it will diminish the Republican brand. That's why I think it's too much to hope for. Let's agree to disagree. As for Hillary, it would be a distinct pleasure to watch them go at each other, but for reasons other than those you suggest. Again, we'll have to agree to disagree.

For now, I'll content myself with anticipating next week's Republican debate. There will be blood.

Well, the Republican Brand is dying, regardless if Trump rises or falls. He's just a bellweather to public sentiment (same as Bernie), and that sentiment is definitely shifting towards the rejection of the political Establishment.

Yup, next debate should be great. Recent polls show improved support for Trump after these comments. Paul has already come out in support of the plan, be it in his own way. It'll be interesting.

Be rational. You should hope he does win. That economic plan alone will create a new golden era in the United States. Why do you oppose that?

Ohhh just vote for Trump and we get a golden era. How many times did businesses he lead end up declaring bankruptcy? Its all golden though.

There's a lot of interesting stuff in here. The problem is how he would accomplish it. Last I checked, the President can't just change income tax without Congress. It's great to have "pie in the sky" desires, but it's another thing to get them implemented.

Yep, and he might have to deal with a democrat controlled congress. I can't image the republicans keeping control after the complete betrayal of the last year.

Come on man. That's not well thought out. His economic plan is gold. It's exactly the medicine we need to get out of this mess.

His personal success speaks for itself. ~20 Million to 10 Billion.
