How will the Economy fair under Trump?

Ohhh just vote for Trump and we get a golden era. How many times did businesses he lead end up declaring bankruptcy? Its all golden though.

Those weren't personal bankruptcies, they were bankruptcies of business entities fire-walled off from the holding company with limited liability. At Trump's level it is almost a form of risk management on individual projects. Looks like he did pretty well with it.

Yeah, but it looks like those particular businesses didn't do so well, did they? So The Donald's key operating principle is covering his own ass and looking out for Number One rather than creating value for his stakeholders and having skin in the game. Nothing wrong with that as long as you know he's only in it for himself -- demonstrably and repeatedly. That's who and what he is. There's The Donald, and then there's Everyone Else to cushion the fall. Are you The Donald? No? Well, then, you're Everyone Else. Good luck with that.

It's a good bet that Trump entered the race to enhance his name recognition for business purposes. It's still unclear if he is in cahoots with another candidate and if so which one. Maybe he was intended to be a straw man for Bush, with the plan being for Bush to step forward as the sensible alternative after Trump made an ass of himself. We're at that point and the Republicans have a problem because the voters don't want another Bush.

I don't doubt it, because The Donald is all about The Donald. But I'm wondering if he may have taken his rhetoric and demagoguery past the point of no return. I think if he doubles down at next week's debate and continues to do so going forward, it may well hurt his business interests in a meaningful way. We can all then look forward to his biography, "A Gaffe Too Far."

Maybe the Guy, like the majority of Americans, is sick and tired of the Bullcrap coming out of Washington and decided he could do something about it?

They were businesses he was in running. I guess by this measure we ought to thank the guy who ran GM into the ground and say since it was only the bankruptcy of GM and not his personal bankruptcy that we ought to be giving him a thumbs up.

Trump trashed McCain's military service and said he liked guys who didnt get captured. I say, I like business men whose businesses didnt go bankrupt.

I don't think so. He's connected enough that he knows the truth behind the bullshit. Or at least enough of it.
