How to short the S&P using options? Day & swing puts

Congratulations on your 2% day, destriero.

I need more than 2.
We've gone through this already...options can deliver more, can be more explosive, if someone has ideal timing.

I seek money. I seek volatility and range. And only weekly options can provide that.
Assuming, the trader can nail those ideal buy and sell spots on the S&P chart daily to capture that one obvious, major, move.

Doing this day in, day out, everyday....will make a small account blossom into something massive.
Transform a ripple into a tidal, rogue, wave.

100% your net liq is under $5K

"Be like water" and explain how ONE 50 Delta option outperforms ONE 75 Delta option "if someone has ideal timing" and "capture that one obvious, major, move."...

Spx Op holding period is 8 nanoseconds.Thats about as long as he can hold a cogent thought..I may be off by 5 nanoseconds
That may be so. But Overnight is looking for help a loooooot longer than that - measured in weeks to months.

This thread is going in circles...like drunks at a bar arguing about some useless stuff.

I'm not a Guru Course Salesman on a social media channel trying to Sell clients to buy my package.
I've spoken my peace with this thread.

You spoke in this thread as if you have a special formula on how to make the bestest money ever through options by simply buying puts and calls. I think what is being asked for here from folks is proof it is working for you. There is a lot you have boasted about, but proof is in the pudding. They are asking for that proof.

When I started my journal, I did it to try to show others that making money using simple methods with futures CAN be done. My trading has evolved over time, and I am still struggling to do it because I have had some setbacks. But I am working on it. It is the struggle that is most helpful, not the end result.

But I ALWAYS post my live real money trades. You can see it here.

If YOU, @SPX Options Trader do the same thing, you will garner a lot more respect 'round these parts.

You mentioned that you seem to have witnessed that people who post trading journals tend to do worse than if they had never done that. I disagree.

Post your real-money trades, and we can all take the journey with you. Just as the people who might be following MY journal are taking the journey with ME.

Just because there is not a lot of talk in that journal outside of trading, does not mean that people are not watching it, and possibly learning from it. But that was it's INTENTION. It is going fine by me.

A journal by YOU could be the same way, and could teach people bits THEY did not know about. Altruistic? Perhaps. But it is better than being a hermit and not sharing expertise.

Give it a shot, man.

Not gonna happen. If he wouldn't respond to the scenario I presented, using his own comments as a setup, he certainly isn't going to start and post to a journal.

I'll delete this if needed but I am going to add color to those mentioned. Magic is up a ton in 2021. TBS started with <$200K a couple of years ago and is sitting on a haircut well over a million. He's in his early 20s.

Must have been that 5% SPX was talking about. Per day, anyway.

The only meaning I know for 'haircut' as related to trading is paying the spread, so I'm not sure how you're applying it here... but I'm hoping it doesn't mean TBS is in the hole for that amount; as I recall, he was fairly solid on risk management.

If that's not what it means - well, knowing that all you guys who helped me are making a mint would make me quite cheerful. :)

Oh yea, sure, it's easy to give away...generic, theory, foundational, trading information...that will make you a nice, whopping, 5% a year.

So far, you're not "giving away" anything above 0% - so even if that was the case, those guys would be a few thousand miles ahead of you.

I don't mean to brag and boist...

But you do. In fact, that is the sum total of every single thing you've posted here.

Everyone will literally suck my d-ck, if I can deliver to them $400,000 a year in trading profits.

Thanks for letting us know how you got to... wherever you are. TMI, but I suppose preferences vary.
