That'd be a scandal by itself. What's it used for? What if the wife found out about it?

Good question. If you break up a transaction into less than 10k amounts but the amounts total more than 10k, this is a crime. Seriously, 10k is not much money. I don't know the answer but the more the govt talks about privacy issues the less we have.
