The same gummit who promised to use the Patriot Act ONLY against terrorists and now it's being used for politics (Spitzer) and for taxes (IRS)?

Like I said, if you have no trouble living under a police state thumb, and don't mind getting screwed by the gummit, then you have nothing to worry about.

Worst case is they seize all you bank accounts and send you to prison for wiring money to the wrong person.

Spitzer drew attention for 2 reasons. One he is was trying to shuffle money between accounts to in attempt to hide it from his wife. , the other was he was a elected official and his activity looked suspicious that perhaps he was embezzling or using non personal funds for personal use.


You think banks filing suspicious activity reports started from the patriot act ?

The law has been around nearly 40 years.
