How to mitigate the risk of Metatrader becoming "illegal"?

Wait until Putin uses atomic weapons, he already mentioned it several times and also preparing for it. It may take 6 months or even 12 months from here, but the chances are very high that he will make some use of them. Then everyone clearly understands that every tie from Russia is under strict eyes and the chance the Metatrader will be banned totally are then much higher.

About time MT is banned or shut down or whatever. Any software makers that blatantly makes a plug-in that helps brokers to manipulate quotes and orders while trading against its clients to steal money from them deserve to be banned or shut down. They should've been shut down or banned sooner. I am honestly surprised that it's survived for this long.

I don't see why this is a risk. You just move to a different software platform. It's not that difficult to translate the codes from those EA's from C++ to any other languages used by other software. MT, besides its GUI, is about the worst software that you can ever have as a trading software. Any software out there is better.
