How to cut down crime drastically imo

I guess I don't think that there is a 'wrong' decision for the armed man. In my opinion though, he made the better choice by shooting first and not letting it play out. Suppose they weren't silly kids but instead two hardened felons that met in the joint and compared notes? I posted another video a few pages back of a guy walking into a gas station and casually shooting the clerk in the face. I realize there really is nothing but random chance involved in surviving that, but in this case.. why leave it up to chance when you have the ability to alter the outcome?

I agree with with not waiting. Zero reason to allow anything to progress, silly kids don't do armed robbery. Silly kids were on the computer, and grandpa nobly fought back.

Everybody should get out to an indoor shooting range where they can learn to fire a .38 if nothing else. Some of these comments in this thread indicate that the writers don't really know how the pistol thingy works.. In Teddy Roosevelt's time, he was a proponent of physical fitness, shooting was part of his fitness program... of course nowadays we have high school kids that can't run around the gym once...

My observation as well. Pseudo "experts" who have little if any real knowledge or experience with firearms arrogantly presuming to tell those of us who do what we should or should not be doing with our constitutionally protected right.
