How much does life costs where you live?

Quote from oldtime:

I live in Indiana, just moved to an apartment, rent is $500/month.

Can walk to McDonalds if I want to, but would never eat there

I can walk through the woods to the grocery store.

Tried to buy a black angus steak yesterday for $12, but the butcher told me he had some better white faced on sale for $8.

He picked one out for me, like he said "This one has a good tenderloin on it."

otherwise, cigarettes are $42 a carton and I buy a carton about every five days, but I can put on my clothes and walk to the c store and come home and get back in my pajamas before the computer even times out.

"walk to the c store and come home and get back in my pajamas before the computer even times out."

you have nothing on Ali.
I'm so fast that, last night, I turned off the light switch in my hotel room and was in bed before the room was dark.

I was an abused child. My father was a commission salesman, and whenever he made a big sale we were forced to eat at Mcdonalds. The day I graduated from high school I left home and have never eaten at a Mcdonalds since.

My father is now pushing 94 years old, but he is slowing down, and I attribute it all to Mcdonalds.

He use to eat there a lot, but now has switched to Wendys, since they send him more coupons in the mail.

I envy the guys on Pacific islands with no roads etc.

Sitting under a palm tree - no worries.

No cars so $0 per gallon of gas.

A McDonald free area of natural unspoilt beauty.

No crappy politicians/police/revenue etc.

Don't tell or everybody will be coming here.

You were "forced" to eat McDonalds? Come on man, this is what I hate about America. There are kids in Africa and India that eat worms for dinner and you were "forced" to eat McDonalds. Jesus get a grip on your daddy issues already. And good luck speaking out of a hole in your throat when you get lung cancer.

when you finally progress from being a prop trader to an independent trader we will talk. Until then, your small mind is mildly amusing.
